Rates and Fees
My hourly rates are consistent with the Editorial Freelancers Association and may be higher when specialized expertise is required for a particular job. The fee for services is calculated based on the number of words or pages contained in the manuscript, the time required to edit one page, and the time it takes to conduct any other pertinent, agreed-upon tasks. Light copyediting requires less time than substantive editing, and developmental editing is more labor-intensive.
